Uncountable Nouns
 الأسماء الغير المعدودة

 

Uncountable nouns cannot be counted.

 

( s,es ) هي التي لا جمع لها بإضافة

n 

salt, coffee, tea, food, meat, gold, music, blood.

 

جميع الأسماء الغير المعدودة تعامل معاملة المفرد ولا يضاف قبله أدوات النكرة

  We deal with Uncountable Nouns as singular Nouns (but don't use a or an before it)

أمثلة:

1) Coffee is a traditional drink in Saudi Arabia.

2) Milk has many minerals. 

NOTE:If we use words to show quantities before the uncountable Noun, we deal with it as plural Nouns

و لكن لو وضعت كلمات تدل على الكمية قبل الاسم الغير معدود فأنه يعامل معاملة الجمع.

1) Two cups of tea are not enough for me.

2) Five liters of oil do not operate this machine.
